We removed an existing old prefabricated fireplace that was built with the home and installed the regency G800EC direct vent gas fireplace with a horizontal vent kit. We install custom stone work floor to ceiling - made a custom mantel from oak and stained finish and installed a custom piece of bluer stone for the hearth. - Hit on the one company one call - and something about don't keep an old existing pre fabricated fireplace - there are options to have a safe working fireplace. A lot of homes built in the 1990s and up have these pre fab fireplaces.
